Opis kursu ze strony AO
The course is targeted at specialist orthopaedic surgeons interested in advancing their expertise in the management of foot and ankle injuries and pathological conditions. Participants must have already completed the AOTrauma Principles Course and a regional subspecialty foot course.
Surgeons participating in the course will concentrate on the application of surgical planning and advanced techniques in the management of complex foot and ankle injuries. The course will be taught in a modular format. A limited number of evidence-based lectures will cover the key information required. In practical exercises and cadaver workshops participants will be trained in the application of different techniques and approaches. In the reconstructive part focus will be mainly on surgical techniques for managing possible pathologies posttraumatic, systemic, and neurological.
